Traveling to Zion National Park?
To access the main (south) entrance or the east entrance, you’ll be traveling on SR-9, either from I-15 in Washington County or from US-89 at Mount Carmel Junction. If you’re visiting Kolob Canyons, that’s a separate entrance off I-15 near New Harmony.

📍 Zion Canyon Scenic Drive: Currently closed to pedestrians and bicyclists but shuttles are operating normally on the Scenic Drive.

📍SR-9 / ZMCH / Zion National Park: The Zion Mount Carmel Highway is closed to east and west bound traffic due to rock fall.
Crews are working to clear the switchbacks
Closure is from East Entrance to Canyon Junction
📍 Zion Canyon Scenic Drive: Currently closed to pedestrians and bicyclists but shuttles are operating normally on the Scenic Drive.
