SR-9/Zion-Mt. Carmel Highway (ZMCH) Construction
Traveling to Zion National Park?
To access the main (south) entrance or the east entrance, you’ll be traveling on SR-9, either from I-15 in Washington County or from US-89 at Mount Carmel Junction. If you’re visiting Kolob Canyons, that’s a separate entrance off I-15 near New Harmony.

🚧 OPEN: @zionnps has opened the closed portion of The Zion-Mount Carmel Highway to through traffic
➡️ Drive carefully near the rockfall scene and watch for gravel and uneven surfaces
➡️ Visitors should be alert for vehicles and pedestrians in the area
